Undefeated Contender Series winner Tommy McMillen debuted opposite Manolo Zecchini as part of Saturday’s UFC Vegas 115 main card.

Featherweight McMillen was 9-0 entering the promotion, while Zecchini had lost his promotional debut back in 2023, and was returning for the first time since that fight.

The fight opened at a frantic pace, with Zecchini charging forward aggressively. McMillen met him head-on, snapping off a clean one-two as both fighters quickly abandoned any real concern for defense. It turned into a chaotic exchange early, but McMillen was the one landing with more consistency, even buckling Zecchini in the opening moments.

That same wildness gave Zecchini opportunities, though, as McMillen’s aggression bordered on reckless. A brief pause came after McMillen landed an accidental groin strike, but once action resumed, they went right back to trading in tight quarters.

McMillen’s corner was urging him to embrace the chaos, and he did just that—starting to separate himself as the exchanges piled up. He backed Zecchini to the cage and unleashed a barrage: body kicks, straight punches, and knees up the middle to both the head and body. The sustained offense overwhelmed Zecchini, forcing the stoppage and earning McMillen a TKO victory.

A true barnburner, but ultimately one where Zecchini couldn’t keep up with McMillen’s pace and power.

Official Result: Tommy McMillen def. Manolo Zecchini by TKO (punches and knees), Round 1, 3:57

Contender Series winner Jose Delano made his promotional debut at UFC Vegas 115 in a main card bout with former KSW featherweight champ Robert Ruchala.

Ruchala had dropped his own debut to William Gomis last year.

The fight opened with both men measuring distance, each looking to establish range. Delano was the first to land clean, snapping Ruchala’s head back with a crisp one-two. Ruchala tried to close the distance and tie up, but Delano shrugged him off with ease. Early on, Delano’s movement stood out—sharp defensively, slipping and ducking punches while angling off effectively.

Ruchala was clearly intent on getting the fight to the mat, but he paid for those attempts in the clinch, eating knees for his efforts. He mixed in solid volume on the feet, repeatedly going to the head kick, but Delano’s composure and fluidity gave him a slight edge in the round.

In the second, Ruchala returned to his kicking game, staying active. Delano answered with a stiff right hand that forced Ruchala backward, immediately making his presence felt. Ruchala found moments of success with spinning attacks, including a clean body kick, but Delano began to settle in. A sharp right-left combination into a leg kick highlighted his rhythm, and his left hand, in particular, started landing with consistency. The Brazilian looked more cohesive with his combinations, pulling ahead through cleaner, more effective striking.

Heading into the final round, the fight felt up for grabs. Both fighters engaged quickly, exchanging with urgency. Delano landed a nice body-head combination, while Ruchala continued to target the head with kicks—even when blocked—staying committed to the attack. He also found the body with a pair of hooks and another spinning strike to the midsection.

Delano responded in kind, digging to the body with a straight left and following up with kicks. As the round progressed, Ruchala looked to slow the pace in the clinch, but a costly mistake—grabbing the fence—resulted in a point deduction that loomed large. In the final minute, Delano invested heavily to the body and capped things off with a clean one-two.

It was a highly competitive, back-and-forth fight that delivered action throughout.

Official Result: Jose Delano def. Robert Ruchala by unanimous decision (30-26, 29-27, 29-27)

Dakota Hope made his UFC debut on Saturday, taking on the returning Kai Kamaka III to kick off UFC Vegas 115 at the Meta Apex.

Kamaka’s original stint with the company had seen him go 1-2-1 then land in Bellator, the PFL, and return to the regional scene before ending a second shot. Hope was a former Peak Fighting featherweight champ moving up to lightweight for his promotional debut.

Hope came out aggressive, immediately backing Kamaka to the cage and working in a Muay Thai-heavy approach. He mixed in tight, short punches with punishing knees to the body. Kamaka stayed composed, clearly looking to slow the pace, and began investing in leg kicks. Each time he tried to settle things, though, Hope answered with bursts of offense.

Kamaka planted in the pocket at one point, where Hope dropped him—though it came amid a messy sequence involving a missed headbutt from the referee. Kamaka bounced back up quickly and didn’t appear shaken, returning to his leg kicks, which were starting to add up. Hope continued to find success, landing a sharp right hand while mixing in knees to the body and elbows in the clinch. It was a strong, high-paced opening round from the newcomer.

Round two opened with an early clinch, where Hope landed a clean elbow. Shortly after, he connected with a right hook that seemed to momentarily buckle Kamaka. Still, Kamaka had his moments inside, working body-to-head in the clinch. He stayed committed to attacking both levels, trying to wear Hope down. While Hope’s pace dipped slightly, he continued throwing with clear fight-ending intent. Kamaka showed an excellent chin, absorbing several clean hooks, and closed the round strong with digging body shots and hard knees.

Heading into the final round, the fight felt up for grabs. Kamaka had the better start, as Hope began to show signs of fatigue. He was the one applying pressure now, backing Hope up and countering effectively when Hope tried to come forward. The sustained body work from Kamaka began to pay dividends, and he even landed a clean elbow on the break. Hope looked to be feeling it, frequently reaching for the clinch and overextending in exchanges.

Still, Hope fought hard to the final bell, landing in spots and blitzing forward with volume. Kamaka continued to target the body late, and although Hope secured a brief takedown in the closing moments, Kamaka quickly returned to his feet before the horn.

A highly competitive fight between two fighters who both showed they belong.

Official Result: Kai Kamaka III def. Dakota Hope by split decision (29-28, 28-29, 29-28)

“Juicy J” was in action at UFC Seattle, as local boy Julian Erosa took on Lerryan Douglas in a featherweight fight that had fireworks in the forecast.

Erosa had seen a three-fight win streak snapped in his last outing; Douglas was making his promotion debut off his contract-winning performance on Dana White’s Contender Series.

Round one opened with both fighters exchanging leg kicks, and Erosa fired a sharp one-two before following up with a high kick. Douglas responded with a leg kick that oddly connected on Erosa’s jaw. Erosa regained his footing, but Douglas quickly dropped him with a crisp hook. Maintaining composure, Douglas let Erosa press forward, and when he did, Douglas landed several punishing shots while backing him up.

A jab sent Erosa down once more, followed by two more stuns from the same jab. Douglas then landed a right off the jab and finished with a right hand for a decisive knockdown, pouring on heavy strikes to secure a brutal, emphatic knockout.

With the win, Douglas improved to 14-5 as a professional in mixed martial arts, and has won six straight. That includes an LFA title, with Douglas initially winning an interim belt, then unifying it with a victory over Elijah Johns.

Official Result: Lerryan Douglas def. Julian Erosa via Knockout (punches), Round 1, 3:33

Longtime Bellator MMA heavyweight Tyrell Fortune arrived in the UFC on Saturday, taking on a ranked opponent in Marcin Tybura at UFC Seattle.

Fortune, taking the fight on short notice, has notable wins over Matt Mitrione and Marcelo Golm, both UFC veterans. He also has a remarkable story, having been declared dead after a botched weight cut.

Round one saw Tybura stalking Fortune, who was bouncing lightly on his feet. About a minute in, Fortune exploded forward with an easy takedown, trapping Tybura against the cage and landing several solid shots. Tybura managed to turn to his knees and attempted to use the cage to stand, but Fortune caught him with a big right hand as he rose. Tybura struggled to secure his back against the cage but did land some short knees and elbows. The fighters separated with a minute remaining, though little action followed.

Round two opened with a heavy exchange, with Tybura pressing forward and throwing volume strikes. Fortune appeared to be conserving energy, remaining low volume and selective, landing one powerful shot at a time. Tybura managed a straight left, which Fortune absorbed without issue. In the final minute, Tybura landed a body kick while Fortune connected with two clean straight rights. It was a stronger round for Tybura, as Fortune’s measured pace kept the fight closer than it perhaps should have been.

The final round began with both men tying up early. Fortune absorbed several hooks to the body while failing to make much impact against the cage. Tybura, though not landing anything particularly decisive, stayed active with forward pressure. His aggression led to a duck-under takedown attempt from Fortune, which Tybura immediately escaped, rising to his feet despite taking a few shots. Tybura continued pressing against the cage, landing some decent strikes to close out the fight.

Overall, it was a slow-paced affair where both fighters struggled to find a rhythm against each other. Tybura’s activity and forward pressure contrasted with Fortune’s selective striking, resulting in a tactical, if unspectacular, matchup.

Come the judges scorecards, Tybura was announced the winner, with Fortune exiting the octagon. Then, in an embarrassing moment for all involved, Fortune was called back into the cage, with announcer Bruce Buffer apologizing and re-reading the result, with Tyrell Fortune earning the decision win. Tyrbua took the mishap gracefully, and Fortune will no doubt never forget how his first UFC win was announced.

Having stepped into the fight on two weeks’ notice, that’s a significant victory for Fortune, who will almost certainly be ranked next week.

Official Result: Tyrell Fortune def. Marcin Tybura by unanimous decision (30-27, 29-28, 29-28)

Contender Series standout Kurtis Campbell made his debut on the UFC London main card on Saturday, paired up with Brazilian Danny Silva.

Known as “The Pink Panther” after fighting in pink fight shorts on the regional scene (he’d get them again on Saturday), Campbell was an unassuming figure outside the cage, but a perfect 8-0 inside it. Silva, 2-1 in the UFC to date, had lost to rising star Kevin Vallejos in his last fight.

The fight opened with Campbell immediately going to his kicks, throwing a variety of looks to keep Silva at range and disrupt his rhythm. Silva pressed forward aggressively but was a bit sloppy on the entry, allowing Campbell to secure an early takedown. Campbell looked to transition to the back and, after a brief scramble, managed to get there. Silva responded well, picking an ankle to reverse position and working his way back to his feet.

Back at distance, Campbell pushed Silva to the cage again, but Silva showed strong takedown defense and avoided being grounded. The round closed on the feet, with both fighters having their moments and likely feeling confident heading into the second.

Round two flipped the fight instantly. Silva dropped Campbell with a big right hook. Campbell got back up, but Silva stayed on him, landing two more right hands that put him down multiple times, forcing the TKO stoppage. That spoiled the debut of Campbell, and marked the best Silva had looked in the UFC.

Official Result: Danny Silva def. Kurtis Campbell by KO (right hands), Round 2, 0:31

Former Oktagon star Losene Keita’s long-awaited UFC debut arrived on Saturday at UFC London, where he faced on against Brit Nathaniel Wood.

Keita was supposed to take on Patricio Pitbull last year, but missed weight for the fight, which was scrapped. No such issues arose ahead of UFC London, but the result was not what the ex-Oktagon MMA champ was looking for.

The featherweight fight opened with both men working behind the jab and probing with leg kicks as they tried to establish range. Wood had the early edge, landing the cleaner shots while staying composed and not biting on Keita’s feints. Keita was more focused on counters, showing flashes of power with a couple of clubbing right hands. Wood prioritized optics with jabs, straight punches, and calf kicks, while Keita looked to land the more impactful shots. It was a contrast in styles, but a fairly measured opening round that didn’t fully clash.

Round two started with Wood going right back to the calf kick. Keita answered with a sharp jab and mixed in some leg kicks of his own. Wood landed a good counter as Keita loaded up, briefly taking out his legs, but Keita recovered quickly and fired back with a clean knee. Wood doubled up on the jab and followed with a leg kick that buckled Keita. Despite that, Keita’s offense did more visible damage, marking up Wood’s face and finishing the round strong with a big right hand at the bell, likely edging it on impact.

Heading into the third, it felt even and up for grabs. Keita came out with more urgency and a better feel for range, while Wood stayed consistent, continuing to chip away with leg kicks and short, scoring shots. The kicks added up, even if they didn’t significantly affect Keita. Keita was clearly pursuing damage, throwing with more intent, even at a lower volume. The final minute was fairly quiet, with Keita loading up and Wood staying disciplined, landing short punches in what remained a very close fight down the stretch.

It was split on the scorecards, with Wood getting the nod. Clearly not how Keita had envisioned his debut playing out.

Official Result: Nathaniel Wood def. Losene Keita by split decision (29-28, 29-28, 29-28)

Unbeaten Contender Series featherweight Marwan Rahiki made his promotional debut at UFC Vegas 114, taking on fellow 145lb prospect Harry Hardwick.

While Australia’s Rahiki started the night with an unblemished record, Hardwick had dropped his UFC debut to Kauê Fernandes and was looking to bounce back.

The bell rang and Hardwick immediately checked a leg kick from Rahiki. Rahiki slipped while throwing another kick, allowing Hardwick to quickly jump on his back. Rahiki reacted well and broke free almost instantly without facing any real danger.

Back on the feet, Hardwick landed a stiff right hand as Rahiki continued working his kicks. Rahiki mixed in several nasty oblique kicks while Hardwick stayed composed, stabbing the body with jabs and crowding space with his punches. Hardwick then landed a heavy leg kick, prompting Rahiki to surge forward with a barrage of punches. Just as it looked like Rahiki might drop him, Hardwick fired back with a sharp counter that forced Rahiki to reset. It was an entertaining opening round filled with offense and very little defense from either man.

Round two began with Hardwick clipping Rahiki, only for Rahiki to immediately return the favor and hurt Hardwick. Hardwick leaned his head against the cage to regain his composure before firing back, but the momentum didn’t last long. Rahiki caught him with a left hand during an exchange that forced Hardwick backward. Sensing the moment, Rahiki went for the finish, ripping a series of punches to both the body and head. Remarkably, Hardwick absorbed the damage and fought back.

Rahiki then landed a spinning kick followed by a knee to the body. Hardwick caught the kick and attempted to wrestle, but Rahiki smartly turned into him and ended up on top. With only a little time remaining, Hardwick managed to push off and create space.

However, the fight was stopped between rounds after Hardwick was found to have suffered a broken jaw. A fantastic fight while it lasted.

Official Result: Marwan Rahiki def. Harry Hardwick by TKO (corner stoppage – broken jaw), Round 2, 5:00

Lightweight Manoel Sousa had made stops on Bellator MMA, the PFL, and LFA before landing on the Contender Series last year; on Saturday at UFC Vegas 114, he made his UFC debut opposite Bolaji Oki.

Oki was 2-2 in the company, looking to rebound from a loss to Mason Jones. Sousa’s only loss had come to the formidable Archie Colgan.

The fight opened with feints from Sousa as he steadily walked Oki down. Oki landed a couple of solid outside leg kicks early, but the momentum quickly shifted when Sousa dropped him hard with a massive right hand. Oddly, Sousa opted to chase a kimura and held onto it even as Oki stood up, which allowed Oki to scramble into top position. From there, Oki landed several hammerfists and controlled the position until Sousa worked his way back to his feet. Sousa did manage to land a sharp elbow in the clinch, but Oki dictated the position, peppering him with knees to the body. It was a strong start from Sousa, but the decision to hunt the submission gave Oki the chance to regain momentum and get his offense going.

In the second round, Oki caught Sousa coming in as he loaded up and clipped him clean. Sousa began whiffing on big overhands and even shot a few blind takedowns as he struggled to close the distance. The pace started to wear on him, and he looked noticeably slower while having trouble finding his range. His best moments came during quick blitzes, but Oki defended them well. Sousa tried to mix in body shots as the round progressed, though he was often countered in the process. In the final minute, Sousa called Oki forward and managed to buckle him with a sharp left hook just before the bell.

Heading into round three, the fight was still up for grabs. Oki came out sharp, working behind his jab and mixing in leg kicks. Sousa, meanwhile, relied more on looping hooks and heavier kicks to the legs. As the round wore on, Sousa abandoned his shot selection and began swinging for the fences. The pace ramped up in the final minute as the fight turned into a full-on brawl. Oki started backing up while Sousa pressed forward, ripping hooks to the body and jabbing his way inside. Oki briefly regained momentum with a multi-punch combination, but Sousa immediately responded by pouring on relentless pressure. Trapping Oki against the cage, Sousa uncorked a brutal right hand that put him to sleep, sealing a dramatic comeback knockout.

Official Result: Manoel Sousa def. Bolaji Oki by knockout (right hand), Round 3, 4:14

Hecher Sosa stepped into UFC Vegas 114 on Saturday in place of Rinya Nakamura, taking on Luan Lacerda on short notice in a bantamweight bout.

Born in and fighting out of Spain, Sosa, the “Guanche Warrior,” had won a UFC deal on Dana White’s Contender Series in 2025, and apparently had no desire to wait any longer to make his debut.

Early in round one, Lacerda was the first to land a meaningful strike, cracking Sosa with a heavy leg kick. The shot seemed to spark Sosa’s aggression, as he immediately responded with a flying knee attempt. Despite the burst from Sosa, it was Lacerda who controlled the striking exchanges early. He eventually used his striking to set up a clean single-leg takedown. Sosa managed to create space and get back to his feet, but he was soon countered while throwing a kick that briefly dropped him.

Lacerda remained firmly in control of the round. He continued to win the stand-up exchanges and secured another clean takedown. To Sosa’s credit, he worked his way back up again, though he absorbed a knee during the separation. Late in the round, Sosa landed a sharp one-two that seemed to boost his confidence. Lacerda answered with two nasty body kicks to close the round. Sosa finished with some momentum, but the round was clearly dominated by Lacerda.

Round two began with Sosa pressing forward. He threw a number of front kicks but was reaching with his punches. As Sosa blitzed in, Lacerda timed another knee—similar to the strike that broke Sosa’s nose in the opening round. Sosa’s offense became increasingly sloppy; he wasn’t turning his punches over and often lunged forward with his body ahead of his hands. Lacerda was visibly slowing down but remained the cleaner, more technical fighter.

Still, Sosa’s pressure gradually turned the fight into a dogfight. His takedown defense improved significantly in this round, keeping the fight standing throughout. It was a much better frame for Sosa, as his aggression and chaotic blitzes helped him edge the exchanges.

In the final round, Lacerda opened with a quick takedown. As in the first round, however, Sosa quickly bounced back to his feet. On the break, Sosa landed a combination and began finding more success in close-range exchanges. At distance, Lacerda still had success with his jab and kicks. He managed to secure another takedown, though he wasn’t able to do much with it.

Sosa later threw a wild spinning backfist that was sloppy but followed it up by landing two right hands and an elbow. In the final minute, both fighters stood and traded wildly, closing the fight with a messy but competitive exchange.

Official Result: Hecher Sosa def. Luan Lacerda by unanimous decision (30-27, 30-27, 29-28)
