UFC 259: Three Title Fights, Three Predictions

On paper, UFC 259 is absolutely stacked.

The rare three title fight card is capped off by a Light heavyweight title fight that pits current middleweight champion Israel Adesanya against the 205lb champion Jan Blachowicz. Opening up the trilogy of gold is Petr Yan defending his belt for the first time, against top bantamweight Aljamain Sterling. And the seemingly untouchable Amanda Nunes is also in action, against Australia’s Megan Anderson.

It’s common knowledge amongst MMA fans that this sport is unpredictable, and that absolutely anything can happen once the cage door shuts. It’s just when an outcome to a fight seems like a foregone conclusion that the MMA god’s come and put you right in your place. No matter what the Vegas odds may say, you have to always be prepared for the apple cart to be tipped over. But speculation is a big part of what makes this sport so enjoyable, and with three title fights set for Saturday night, we have an offering of three predictions to go along with it.

Who wins, and who loses, come Saturday? Will the UFC have its next champ-champ, or will the Polish power of Jan Blachowicz prevail atop UFC 259? Check out our three title fight predictions in the video above!
