10 Heavyweight Prospects the UFC Should Sign in 2020

Aleksandr Maslov

Heavyweight tends to be a shallow division when it comes to already established prospects. With that said when you look much deeper, Aleksandr Maslov stands out. He’s only 3-0 but he’s beat journeyman Yuriy Protzenko, Wallyson Carvalho who was a good prospect at the time, and former UFC fighter Cody East. With all three of those opponents, Maslov ran right through them.

Maslov a dangerous athletic striker who has a lot of pop behind his punches. He’s also very fast with his output and overall good hands with a key uppercut he loves to throw. He’s still very young so it may benefit him to stay on the regional scene longer. Maybe at the end of the year, with a couple more fights under his belt, the UFC could scoop him up.
