Unless the UFC opens an atomweight division, I doubt if we’ll see the UFC picking up Istella Nunes. She barely got by a much smaller Mei Yamaguchi, in fact, I would argue that she didn’t except on two of the judges scorecards, and I don’t think she would fare well in the UFC’s SW division. It’ll be interesting to see how Angela fares in her upcoming SW title fight. Unless she is exceptionally dominant, though, I doubt if she would do well in the UFC’s SW division either, despite her calling out JJ last year.
